For me, traveling is a way to really explore and experience the culture, lifestyle, and food. I wasn’t always an adventurous type growing up. I really didn’t like much change in my routine, but I found myself in my 20s heading to Northern California to begin an adventure in travel nursing. This was a journey I was a little nervous about, but excited to experience! Through my travels from the west to the east coast, I found food as a source of comfort and discovery. When I wasn’t working a shift in the hospital, I was in the kitchen testing recipes and getting a lot of inspiration from watching Food Network.
